Set in the pastoral hills of Pomfret, Vermont, Cloudland Farm offers visitors an authentic farm experience.  The spectacular views on the four-mile drive up the scenic Cloudland Road are just the beginning.  At the farm, visitors are free to take photographs of Emmons Family the farmland and any ofthe animals that may be in view.  This may include our black Angus cattle and calves, horses, laying hens,Cornish-cross meat chickens, turkeys, the barn cats or the farm dog, Roo.  For those who enjoy hiking,the Appalachian Trail runs  through the farm property and is open to hikers every day of the year.  
If you would like to take something home with you from the farm, the Cloudland Farm Country Market offers for sale Cloudland’s delicious natural Angus beef steaks, ground beef, roasts, beef sausages, beef jerky, and pickles.  TheCountry Market also offers jams, maple syrup, bread boards, and hand-turned wooden bowls, all of which are made right here in our Vermont neighborhood.

We also invite you to come for dinner at our on-farm restaurant to experience true farm-to-table dining. Our chef creates tantalizing cuisine using fresh, local ingredients from Cloudland and other local farms -- a feast for both eyes and palette.

We welcome you to stop by our family farm.  We are open year ‘round and the Country Market hours are currently Thursday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Wednesday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. or by appointment.  The restaurant is open for dinner on Thursdays and Saturdays.
