Grilled Spicy Skirt Steak

a ¾ to1 lb. skirt steak  2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 Tbsp. chili powder 1 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. ground cumin ¾ tsp. black pepper
1 large garlic clove, minced & ¼ tsp. allspice
   mashed to a paste w/1 tsp. salt    1 Tbsp. vegetable oil

Cut steak into large pieces to fit on grill and set aside.
In a small bowl, stir together all other ingredients.  Rub over both sides of the skirt steak pieces.  Marinate beef in a large resealable plastic bag, chilled, for 30 minutes.
Grill steak over medium heat for 3 to 5 minutes per side until just spongy to touch for medium-rare.  Let steak stand on cutting board, covered, for 5 minutes.  Cut across the grain, on the diagonal, into thin slices.
            Serves 2 generously.
