Grilled Marinated London Broil
| For Marinade: |
1 Tbsp. soy sauce |
| 4 large garlic cloves, minced |
1 tsp. dried oregano |
| 4 Tbsp. balsamic vinegar |
1 tsp. dried basil |
| 4 Tbsp. lemon juice |
1 tsp. dried thyme |
| 3 Tbsp. Dijon mustard |
½ tsp. hot red pepper flakes |
| 2 Tbsp. worcestershire sauce |
2/3 cup olive oil |
In a bowl, whisk together marinade ingredients until well combined. Put London Broil in a large resealable plastic bag and pour marinade over it. Seal bag, pressing out excess air, and set in a shallow dish. Marinate meat, chilled, (turning bag once or twice) overnight or up to 36 hours.
Grill London Broil, marinade discarded, for 7 to 9 minutes per side, or to desired doneness. (Meat may be broiled instead.)
Transfer steak to a cutting board, cover with foil, and let stand for 10 minutes.
Slice meat at a 45 degree angle across the grain into very thin slices.
Serves 5 to 7.
