Teriyaki Beef

1 lb. boneless beef sirloin steak  2 tsp. dry mustard
1/3 cup soy sauce  1/4 tsp. dry ground ginger
2 Tbsp. apple juice or cider    1 clove garlic, minced
1 Tbsp. molasses    1/3 cup water

While beef is still partially frozen, thinly slice across the grain into long strips 1/8” thick. 
For marinade, combine soy sauce, apple juice, molasses, mustard, ginger, garlic, and water.  Pour marinade over meat which has been placed in a glass dish.  Marinate for 15 to 20 minutes at room temperature.  Drain meat, reserving marinade. 
On 8 long skewers, loosely thread meat accordion-style.  Place skewers on a broiler pan or on a preheated grill.  Broil or grill 5 to 8 minutes or to desired doneness, turning and brushing occasionally with marinade
            Makes 4 servings.
